About Bailey:
Creating the best version of yourself begins with working together to establish an environment of trust and understanding. I provide individualized support specific to your needs with a collaborative approach. Together, we will outline desired changes and create a plan that feels both effective and realistic for you.
I integrate performance psychology into my work, to support athletes and high achievers in strengthening their mental game. While I have a special interest in working with golfers, I work with individuals across all sports and performance areas. I primarily practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response and Prevention (ERP), Feminist Therapy, and Emotionally-Focused Therapy. Through this work, we will identify your goals, recognize unhelpful patterns, and develop skills to respond in ways that support both your mental health and performance.
I have experience working with anxiety, performance anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, relationship challenges, boundary setting, and supporting LGBTQ+ individuals. I practice anti-racism and strive to create an inclusive space for individuals of all backgrounds and lived experiences. I am also a queer woman for those seeking a queer therapist.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University. As a former Division I golfer, I bring both personal and professional insight into the mental demands of sport and performance. I also identify as a queer woman and welcome those seeking a queer therapist.
Professional Background & Training:
I’m a therapist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University, where I received training in evidence-based, client-centered care. My clinical work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Feminist Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, allowing me to tailor support to each client’s unique needs and goals.
As a former Division I golfer, I also integrate performance psychology into my work, helping athletes and high achievers strengthen their mental game, build resilience, and perform under pressure. This combination of clinical training and lived athletic experience gives me a unique perspective in supporting clients not only in their performance, but in their relationships, identity, and overall well-being.
